Christmas Eve...
Every Christmas Eve, Gramma and Grampa come over for dinner and to give the kids their Christmas Eve present. Jammies of course! Grampa read them
"twas the night before Christmas" and then we watched the nativity.
We left some cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer. (I guess they all have to share just one)
Then I helped Brylee sprinkle her reindeer food that she made in school on the snow so the reindeer would be able to find our house!
A little 2 year old may have snuck a little bite out of one of Santa's cookies!
And then the magic happens! =)
Christmas morning....
Waiting patiently to go out to see if Santa came! I took probably 15 pictures and not one of them had all 3 of them with their eyes open! I guess it was pretty early still! Haha!
The kids next to there loot!
Yes, that is a box of tissues in Bry's pile. Every time we would ask her what all she wanted for Christmas she would always mention her own box of tissues that she could have in her room! Easy enough I guess!
This year, we let Meegies be the first one to open a present. She went straight for Takahito's gift!
She was so happy to get a neck warmer like the one daddy and Kayston have! She also got a sweater, a hello kitty bag and a skirt. She loved them as you can see. I didn't even tell her to do a thumbs up!
Brylee's turn...
More adorable clothes and a neck warmer! She loved it!
Takahito gave Kayston a gun that shoots balls and a super cool sweater!
Opening up Kazuki's present....
He got a cool backpack with a ton of different sports toys in it!
I think he likes it! =)
It's crazy how these boys only stay with us for 2 weeks, but some how during that time, they seem to learn and remember everything we like!
Kazuki gave Bry this Hello Kitty color wonder set. Not only does she love Hello Kitty but this girl could and does color for hours! It was perfect for her!
Meegies got a little origami paper set with stickers and some chap-stick! Anyone who knows meegies knows she is obsessed with chap-stick!
All Kayston really wanted for Christmas was Lego Star-wars (well besides an X-box but that wasn't about to happen)...So that's what he got!!
Bry wanted her own CD player so she could listen to her music down stairs. She also got a few fun kids CD's to go along with it!
Daddy got a new Jacket!
All Kenley wanted from Santa was a baby that closes her eyes. Luckily Santa was able to find just one sitting randomly on a shelf. Santa had been looking for weeks with no luck! Phew!
ANd boy does she love that baby!!!!
Haha! Kayston asked for a magnifying glass so he could burn bugs! Well, I told him that if he did get one that there would be NO bug burning! So, we'll see how it goes!
Meegies finally got her very own princess sleeping bag!
If she could, she would sleep in it every night!
My sweet hubby outdid me again! He surprised me with this beautiful picture of the Timpanogos Temple. I told him a while back that I wanted one but never told him which one or anything. I didn't even know which one I wanted but I don't think I could have chosen a better one! I absolutely love it!
(BTW-don't mind my beautifulness in all these pictures. It was 7 a.m people!)
A remote controle car for the boys from Takahito! They couldn't wait to play with it!
A bag full of treats from Kazuki!
And he sent me a bag FULL of my very favorite candy from Japan! It is seriously so good! I still had a little left from what he brought me in the Summer because I didn't want it to run out! Now my supply is full and I am one HAPPY lady!!! Yummmm!
More treats from Takahito! My pantry seriously looks like someone from Japan lives here and every time I go in there it makes me smile!! I love it!
Takahito sent me this cute little bag with a "K" embroidered in it! It's so cute and he is so thoughtful!!! He also sent us a New Years ornament!
I think the kids were happy with their Christmas...what do you think?
Our Elf Ernie had to head back to the North Pole for another year. The kids were sad but luckily Ernie left a cute note for them to keep!
After we were all done opening presents at home, we headed over to Gramma's house for breakfast and of course more presents. Here are all of the kids in their matching jammies from Gramma!
When we came home, the kids changed into their new clothes from Takahito, and we were ready to head to Idaho for some more Christmas fun!
The kids LOVE their new clothes and I have to say, Takahito did a great job at picking out their right sizes. Especially for not seeing them for over a year!! I don't think Preston could even pick out clothes for them that are this cute and fit this well! Good job Takahito!
Thank you so much Takahito and Kazuki!! We LOVED all the gifts you sent and we only wish you two could be here with us! You will always be part of our family and we can't wait to meet up with you again someday!!! We love you both!!
