Oh, and yes, she is wearing the dreaded witch dress AGAIN! I swear people, she does have other clothes but she will usually change into this dress while I'm in the shower too! I think that dress just needs to mysteriously disappear! Ha! JK I love that she loves it! kind of!

What do your kids do while you're in the shower??
This is what Brylee likes to do while Mommy is in the shower....

She brings ALL of her animals out, covers them in blankets/towels (I guess whatever is more convenient at the time) and they watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

The Princess Festival...
My friend Kat and I decided it would be fun to take our girls to the Princess Festival this year. So, we got them all dressed up in their princess best and spent a fun day with a whole bunch of princesses.
I wasn't sure what to expect and I left feeling like there could have been more but the girls had a BLAST and that's all that matters!!

Bry all glamored out! She even got to wear makeup!

My child was a little challenged when it came to the "heads" but they still looked cute!
There were SO many princesses to meet. The girls were sure to get ALL of their autographs.
the first time we were in line to meet Rapunzel, Captain Hook came and kidnapped her (for lunch) and the girls were so concerned for her the rest of the day. So before we left, we had to go meet her and make sure she was safe.
These little princesses loved watching all the shows. As you can see they were front and center!
They even got to learn a dance from the 12 princesses and got to dance with them in the cave.
Too cute not to post!

This was at the end of our long and VERY HOT day! The girls could have played in here for hours! To be honest, I was pretty close to standing under one of those little fountains myself!
And this is what happens after a LOOOONG day with no nap! A drama queen with her makeup all smeared after a tired breakdown.
You gotta love girls!
Thanks Kat and Brynley for a super fun day! We had so much fun with you!

My Kayston
Kayston has turned into quite an imaginative little boy! He LOVES dressing up and playing pretend and he also loves to dress up his toys or sometimes even make his own toy/friend. The other morning I went down to wake Kayston up for school and this is what I saw when I opened the door...
I have to admit, I jumped when I saw it. I wasn't quite all the away awake in the first place but I was after seeing that!
A couple of days ago, Kayston came up stairs laughing, I asked him what was so funny and he said that he was dressing Brylee up and she looked "hilarious"! A few minutes later, I went down to see what was going on. I found Brylee laying on the floor with a pair of CLEAN (at least they better have been) whitey tightey's over her head with a mask on top of that. Kayston was trying to wrap them both up to make them be a "robot"!

I just love watching him grow up and being able to see the changes he makes. I love watching his face when he is taking something in. I love his "real" smile, especially right now when he is missing 4 teeth. I love love love his laugh! It can seriously make my day!
Even though Kayston has had his rough patches...I feel so blessed to be his mom! He has taught me so much and I'm sure there is lots more to learn with him!

Mommy Daughter double date...
A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I decided to take our girls on a Mommy daughter date. We took them to the restaurant Tokyo. It's just like Teppanyaki. They weren't huge fans of the food (at least Brylee wasn't) but they LOVED watching it being cooked for us! Thanks for the fun night girls! Lets do it again soon!
