We did a lot of swimming, relaxing, some shopping, snorkeling, and of course...EATING! How can you not eat a lot when you're staying at an all inclusive resort?! RIGHT?
We decided to do a tour one of the days where you take a catamaran out to 2 different coral reefs and snorkel. We saw a baby sting ray that we were able to touch, a blow fish, a fish with a long skinny nose, we held a few baby star fish and saw a ton of other pretty fish. I personally love to snorkel. Preston and our friends that went with us don't seem to love it quite as much as I do.
Our guide that was with us had a bottle of fish food. He handed it to me and in seconds, I literally had hundreds of fish all around me. It was pretty neat.
After we finished snorkeling, they got out the spinnaker. It's kind of like para sailing but the boats not moving and you don't go as high. You get lifted up by just the wind. It was pretty windy that day so we lucked out. I was the first to go out of our bunch. I didn't get as high as I would have liked but it was super windy and the swing was going everywhere. As they were lowering me a little so I could jump, the wind turned me and slammed me and the swing into the water. I was fine but then the wind picked back up the swing while it was still under me and almost took me back up with it. Only this time, I would have been hanging from my legs. =)
Preston got way high up and the wind was swinging him all over the place. He was launched out into the water. It was pretty funny!
We had such a great trip and I am sad to be back. However, I missed my kids like crazy!! Kayston was able to spend the whole week (actually 9 days) in Idaho with Preston's family. He had a BLAST!! He didn't get homesick until the night before we picked him up and that's only because his cousin told him that we were bringing him back presents. Brylee stayed with my parents and she also had such a good time. So good in fact, that she forgot who we were. =( When we went in to get her out of bed, she just looked at us and reached for my mom. When I asked her where's mommy...she was patting my mom. How sad is that??? It only took her about 10 minutes to remember who we were but still...It broke my heart!
We just love Mexico and we can't wait to go back! Here are some pictures of our trip...probably too many but, oh well!
Thanks to all of our family that helped out with our kids! You are awesome and we love you so much!! And thanks Ryan and Brit for coming with us and putting up with us all week!

Until next year....=)
