Okay peeps! After going back and forth and being super nervous about it, I'm finally ready to introduce you to a new blog I've been putting together! I've always loved taking pictures and have decided to "try" and make it more than just a hobby. So, I want your HONEST opinion on the pictures I've taken. I promise I won't hate you if you tell me I suck!! =)

9 months...
Kenley's 9 month stats...
Weight: 19.7 lbs=85th %
Height: 30 in.=off the charts
Head Circ.: 17.9 in.=87th %
Some of things that Kenley can do at 9 months!
*clap
*stand up while holding on to the couch
*pick up treats with her fingers and put it in her mouth
*sit up from laying down
*play peek a boo
*give kisses
*dance (so cute btw)
*says mamamamamama
She is SO close to crawling and wants to walk more than anything! She has recently started making the funniest face where she'll squint her nose, show her teefs and breath really fast. LOVE IT! She is a little busy body and I'm pretty sure she's going to be a lot like her brother! YIKES!!
As far as her health, we think she she's doing great. At her appointment yesterday the Doc said she looked perfect! We have another appointment on Monday with the ENT and they'll take another look down her throat to see how things are looking down there!! We're hoping this will be her last appointment with the ENT!
Bry and Kayston love her and she loves Kayston, too! Bry, not so much!! As soon as she see's her coming, she clenchers her fists and starts to grunt and looks at me as if she wants to be saved from something awful. She knows whats coming! I think it's hilarious!
She has a mouth full of teeth...7 to be exact and it looks like 2 more might be coming in! It still weirds us out a little to see our 9 month old with SO MANY teeth! She is still the cutest thing ever, though! Love you my little 9 month old! You bring so much joy into our family!

My little girl goes to pre-school!!
Can it really be true that my little Brylee is old enough to go to pre-school? How did this happen? Anyway, some how it did happen and even though I don't think she should be old enough, she has been ready for this day for a loooong time!
She was so excited to start pre-school. She has been asking for weeks now when she gets to go. My response was "when mommy and daddy get back from Mexico." So, about 10 minutes after seeing us for the first time in a week, she asks, "now do I get to go to pre-school cause you are back from Mexico?" This little girl is a smarty pants!
So, today was the day and I'm proud to say that there were no tears shed on my part. Surprising, I know. I think it had to do with running late and just being glad we made it on time for her first day!
It was weird being home and just having Kenley with me! However, I think I'm going to enjoy those couple of hours that I get to spend with just her kissing those cheeks and trying my hardest to not bite her cause she's so dang squishy and cute! =)

1st day of 2nd grade...
Well, today was the day I have been waiting for pretty much since the day school got out! Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my kiddos but it gets hard thinking of stuff to do everyday and when we don't do anything, I feel bad that my kids are just sitting home! I love having a schedule and we need the structure!
Kayston was more excited than I was! He has been ready for school to start for a while now! He came upstairs chanting..."today I get to go to 2nd grade" Over and over!
I was actually surprised to find myself a little sad that he was going back to school! He has been my good helper and I enjoy spending time with him when the girls are down for their nap!
He got to start at a brand new school that was build just up the street from us so now he gets to walk to school! He wants to ride his bike but I'm still a little too paranoid for that! His teacher is Mrs. Pita and I think she is going to be awesome! When I told Kayston her name was Mrs. Pita he said..."Pita, what kind of name is that???" Silly boy! It turns out she is from Hawaii and he thinks that is pretty cool!
Brylee was pretty sad that brother had to go to school! She was whiny the whole day and kept asking if we could go get him! It's funny cause she mostly likes to start fights with him throughout the day so I thought she would be glad he was gone!
I'm having a hard time accepting that I have a 2nd grader! I know I say this all the time but I seriously can't believe how fast time goes by! Before you know it, he'll be starting Jr. High. YIKES!
I really am so proud of this little guy! He is such a sweetheart and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him! Love you buddy!

Our good friends invited us to go boating with them at Utah Lake last night! We of course said yes since both me and Preston LOVE boating and we are having some major withdrawals from having our own boat!
We were originally supposed to go to Seven Peaks on our last day of Summer break but when I asked the kids what they would rather do, they both chose boating! Smart kids!
We had so much fun! Kayston even tried water skiing since he saw Brynley do it but got freaked out after being dragged under water! He said he will NEVER do that again!
All of the kids, however, LOVED, loved, LOVED the tube! We were able to fit 5 of us on at once and it was so much fun!
Brylee kept yelling "More bumps!" This girl loved it! Kayston was still a little nervous from the skiing incident but he ended up loving it as well!
Thanks to are awesome friends, Reed, Kat and Brynley for another super fun day!

It's what fun is!!!
We were lucky to get some awesome discount passes to Lagoon from my cousin! (Thanks again Shawnee) We wouldn't have gone if we didn't! That place is a rip off!

The girls LOVED the bumper cars! Bry didn't care if she got to drive or not! All she cared about is that she got to ride with Brynley!

I'm pretty sure this was the highlight of their day!

The 2nd time we went back, Kat and Bryn couldn't go at the last minute. So, we were happy that Preston's dad and brother Jakob drove all the way down from Idaho to spend the day with us! The kids had so much fun with their Grandpa and Jakob!
On this day, we actually ended up losing our camera!! AHHH! Luckily, there are still some honest people out there and it was turned in to the lost and found! phew!
They both, of course, wanted to ride every ride with Grandpa!

10 friggen years!!!
Holy moley!! I honestly can't believe that me and Preston have been married for a whole decade!! It's weird cause it seems like we have been together forever but then... it's gone by so fast too!
All I can really say is that it has truly been the best 10 years of my life!
I am so lucky to have found my soul mate...my other/better half! I remember our first date and I could not stand him!! I wished he would have lost my number or something! But, he didn't and he kept bugging me to go out with him one more time! After a while of saying NO THANKS, I finally gave in and went out with him again! And it was the best choice I could have ever made! We have been together ever since and it literally has been the happiest I have ever been!
Now, I'm not saying that we haven't had our rough patches cause we have, but I feel lucky to say that they were tiny bumps and our marriage is stronger than ever!
I often find myself looking at him or watching him play with our kiddos and I get totally smitten over him!! I am still wondering what I did right to deserve such an AMAZING guy!
One thing I love about him is that after all these years, he can still make me laugh! And he does...every day! He is such a great dad too! The kids are constantly asking when daddy will be home from work! Brylee even cries some mornings cause "she doesn't want daddy to go to work"!

The other day I accidentally shut Brylee's fingers in the door (I felt HORRIBLE!) all she wanted was her daddy. So, I called him and told him what happened and guess who was home in 5 minutes to hold his little girl??? Yep!! He left work just so he could come home and make her feel better! After crying for over 15 minutes with me, she didn't make a peep after she got her daddy! I don't know what our family would do without him! Especially me! I am OBSESSED with this guy of mine!
So... Happy Anniversary to my best friend and soul mate!! You make my world a better place and I am SO thankful to get to spend the rest of eternity with you!!!

Weekend fun...
This was such a fun weekend! It started Friday night with a camp out...in our own backyard! Now, this is my kind of camping!
We had a BBQ, went for a walk, made peach cobbler in the fire, roasted marshmallows, had popsicles, the kids had a grass fight, told scary stories, played games in the tent, and attempted to sleep! We made it until almost 4 am when the wind kept blowing the tent down on us so we finally went in the house!

The next day we went to the Lehi foam day! They had big water bouncy slides, lots of booths and even more FOAM!
Kayston LOVED this! Brylee...not so much! She wouldn't even get her feet in! Next year I am definitely getting in and hopefully Brylee won't be such a sissy and join me!
