Some people like to call us anal or OCD.....
But, we just like to call it.... liking things clean!

Last week Brylee had a pretty bad cough. And by bad, I mean gross and flemmy! She's excellent about coughing into her elbow so she doesn't spread as many germs but that also means, gross, dirty sleeves. So, my husband, being the genius that he is, rigged up these baby's! A couple of washcloths and some duct tape and what do ya get...your very own flem catchers!! Good thinking babe!

P.S Bry had dressed her self that day for the 15th time so please don't think that that's something I would dress her in! =)

7

Holy Cow! I seriously can not believe my little boy is already 7!! It's freaking me out that next year, he will be getting baptized! I can't be old enough to have a 7 year old, can I??
Well, I have to say that we sure are proud of this kid! He has grown up so much over the past year and has become such a good kid! He is such a good helper to me and is even trying his hardest to get a long with his sister!
He's doing great in school and even though he was a little behind in the beginning, he's catching up fast! One of the things that I'm most proud of aren't his grades, but the fact that his teacher has always said that he is very respectful to her and even if she has to tell him to not do something, she usually only has to tell him once. That makes me a very proud Momma!
Kayston is still a very silly kiddo and probably always will be! I mean, does he even have a chance with having Preston as a dad? Probably not! But that's okay with me! I love his silliness (except when we're rushing to get ready for school) and if he turns out to be anything like his dad, well, he'll be one lucky guy! =)

For Kayston's Birthday we decided to check him out early from school (which we never do) and take him and Bry to Trafalga. They love this place and we all have season passes so it's pretty much free! We had such a fun time! They had recently put in a new rock wall since the last time we were there and it was huge! The first time Kayston went up he didn't even dare go to the very top cause it was so high but when we came back to do it again, he saw a GIRL go all the way to the top so he had to!! I'm pretty sure this kid has no fear! We also had fun playing mini golf, laser tag, and some arcade games. After Trafalga, we surprised him by taking him out to his favorite restaurant...Olive Garden! Yep, that's where he wanted to go! He loves that place! After dinner, we met Gramma, Grampa and Kenley back at home to have some Birthday PIE! Yes, PIE! We took him to Costco a while back to have him show us what he wanted for his Birthday cake. Well, at first he said he wanted their strawberry cheesecake which got me and Preston excited since we love cheesecake but when we went the day before to pick it up, he saw the apple pies and changed his mind. I tried my hardest to change his mind since I'm not a fan of apple pie but he said that the apple pie smelled SO good! And since it was his Birthday and not mine...we got him the dang apple pie! It's okay, it ended up saving me from all the extra calories!
Our day ended with having a movie night which is always one of the kids' favorite things to do!
It was such a fun day even though I was a little sad thinking that my baby, my first born, is growing up so fast!!

This was seriously so high! I don't know if I'd even dare do it!We always love to play air hockey Even Bry loves it!Guns are always a must, too!My kids would play laser tag all day if they couldAfter mini golf he got pretty hyper!Yummm! Transformers Another mask!!The Birthday PIE!
It was also Kayston's week to be super star in his class! He has been waiting FOREVER for it to be his turn!!

Brylee turns 3 in Disneyland!!!

This year for Brylee's Birthday, we just happened to be in Disneyland! Okay, so I planned it that way, but really, can you think of a better place for a 3 year old to celebrate her Birthday?? I can't! Especially since all of her most FAVORITE characters/princesses are there!
She got to see all the princesses and most important...Minnie Mouse! It was such a fun day! Seeing the expression on her face was priceless! After our long day at Disneyland, we headed over to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner! While we were there, we got to meet, Goofy, Pluto, Princess Jasmine, Chip and Dale, The Fairy God Mother, and of course, Minnie Mouse again! Brylee was in heaven! Except she was scared to death of Pluto and Goofy! Not sure why since she LOVES them on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
She is seriously the sweetest little girl I know and I can't imagine my life without her!
Here are some of my favorite things about Brylee at 3 years old...
She loves to dance! Sometimes she doesn't even need music!
She has the cutest voice and says the cutest things. For example...She replaces a lot of letters with C so she says things like, "I love you co much" and "I gonna calk on the cone" And "I gonna do it all by me celf!" The other day after losing something she told me "don't worry mommy I'll kind it all by me celf because I'm cuper girl!" When she eats something yummy she says "Ummm umm denishious!" She calls Cinderella, Clarabella. If I ask her to do something she'll say "Wait wait a minute, I busy right now!" If she wants something or someone and i tell her she can't have it, she says "but but I just love ___!"
She is constantly giving me kisses and if she can't reach with her lips, she'll kiss her hand and then rub it on me.
She always notices things like my jewelry or a new shirt and is sure to tell me how pretty I am.
She loves to copy everything her big brother does!
If she says thank you, she'll sit there and wait until you say you're welcome and then she'll say uh huh!
Some of her favorite things...
Her favorite color is pink.
Her favorite food is cereal.
Her favorite treat is marshmallows.
Her favorite place to go is Gramma's house.
Her favorite cartoon is Mickey Mouse Club House.
Her favorite movies are all the Tinkerbells, Beauty and the Beast, Monster House, and Enchanted.
Her favorite toys are her princesses and her tea party set.
Her best friends are Gopie aka Sophie and Brynley.

Seriously, can she get any cuter? We just love this little girl and we feel so blessed to have her in our family!

Brylee's 3 year stats!!
Height-45 1/2=off the charts
Weight -37.6=99 percentile

I also had the privilege of celebrating my Birthday in Disneyland since my Birthday is just 4 days after hers. But since it was a Friday the park was pretty packed. So, we decided to ditch Disneyland and hit the beach! It was pretty cold when we got there but the kids still had a blast looking for seashells! Later that night my mom and dad watched the kiddos for us so I could go out with my hubby! We walked down and had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack! Yumm! It was my first time there and I can't wait to go back! Oh, FYI-do not tell them it's your Birthday! That's all I have to say about that!! =)
