So, I decided that instead of doing 5 different posts, I would try to squeeze it all in to one! After all, it did all happen in Summer!!
Summer Kick Off with Gramma.....
Last year my mom rented a big blow up water slide to celebrate school being out! It turned out to be a big hit so she decided to make it a tradition. We invited a few friends and had a great time!!!

The Dirty Dash....
Last year I ran the dirty dash with Cami and had a blast!! So this year, I decided to get a few friends together and get dirty with them!!! We had SO much fun!! We decided to do the whole 5.5 miles and I'm so glad we did!! There were so many fun obstacles that we would have missed if we would have only done the 3 miles!!!
I know I've said this before but I seriously am so lucky to have so many awesome friends!!!
{for those of you who don't know, the Dirty Dash is a race you run in the mud with tons of obstacles...so fun!}
Picnic in the mountains...
A few weeks ago we tried to escape the heat and took the kids for a little picnic up in the canyon! It was still super hot but we still had a fun day!

Splash pads and swimming pools....
I have to admit that I do NOT love Summer! I think it is too long and too hot! If Summer break were only 6 weeks or so it would be perfect!! Trying to find stuff to do all summer gets kind of tough! We like to spend a lot of time at splash pads and pools to keep us busy and cool!
I so wish I would have sucked in better for this picture! Oh well, you win some and you lose some, right?!

Family trip on Front Runner....
A couple of weeks ago we rode the front runner up as a family to Salt Lake. Preston and Kenley had never been on it so it was something fun and different for them! Luckily this time, no kids fell under the train! =) We ate dinner, played in the kids area, did some shopping and walked around Temple Square. We had a GREAT time!

Not too long ago we got together with some friends for a little hot dog roast and s'mores in the canyon! It was so pretty and peaceful up there! That is, until we got rained out! =) The kids had a blast and the company was great!
Now that is a lot of dang kids!!
