HaPpY bIrThDaY!!!

Just wanted to wish this special lady and my best friend, a very Happy Birthday today!I know that I have mentioned before just how much my mom means to me, but just in case you forgot, here it is again!
I have never met anyone like my mom. She has something about her that makes people want to be around her, and once you meet her, you'll want to be her best friend. She is so loving to everyone and she would do anything for anyone!
I can PROUDLY say that she is my hero! I strive to be more like her every day as a mother and as a friend.
She is so inspirational to so many people, it truly is amazing! My wish and goal in life is to be half the mom she was/is.
So thank you mom for being YOU! We love you SO much and we are truly blessed to have you in our lives!

Hope you have a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Finished...

We (by we, I mean Preston) just recently finished our basement! He did such a great job! He really does have a talent for this kind of stuff!
Here are a few pictures upon request! =)

Family room...Looking into playhouse area...Kayston's room...
(have you ever met a 5 year old that WANTED their bedroom in the basement?) Kayston's desk...There is also a guest bedroom and a small office under the porch. We haven't finished the bathroom yet and there is also another large room that will be made into a theater room! If it were up to me, I would make it another big family room or game room but, I guess since Preston is the one doing all the work, he can have his theater room! =)
Oh, and I know that there is a ghetto sheet in Kayston's window, blinds will be in shortly! =)
Thanks babe for all your hard work! It looks great!

easter

Does anybody else feel like Easter just snuck up on them? Gosh, time is flying! I was out shopping for Easter grass at 10:00 the night before! Luckily after 2 stores, I was able to find some and everything worked out!
We have a silly Easter bunny that comes to our house! Every year, he hides our baskets. The good thing about this is, that since Kayston wakes up so blasted early, we don't have to worry about him getting into everything before we all get up! As a matter of fact, I think he forgot it was even Easter cause he just watched cartoons for a while and didn't even come in to bug us. It wasn't until Preston said something that he remembered!
I loved that Easter was on Conference Sunday this year! It was such a nice and relaxing day! Except for the fact that we woke up to 3 inches of snow! Seriously?!?!? Is it ever going to be SpRiNg??

Kayston's basket was hidden in his playhouse! Bry's was in the closet downstairs! Kayston's favorite gift was his new frog book!
Bry's was her new pretty jewelry! She seriously wore these all day!
(Oh, and she loved all the treats too!)We hope everybody had a great Easter! Now, lets all pray for Spring!!
