Thanksgiving, Christmas and everything in between!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was SO much fun! It was a little weird though, cause we were the ones waiting for our kids to wake up! Kayston is always up by 7 and for some reason he decided to sleep until 8 on Christmas morning!
The kids were so excited to see that Santa did come even after all the threats from me that he wouldn't! Ha Ha! I'm mean, I know!
Brylee was so happy to see that Santa had finally brought her her REAL Minnie Mouse and Kayston loved his Lego's!
After we got done opening presents, we got ready and headed over to Gramma and Grampa's for our traditional Christmas breakfast and of course, more presents!
Boy, do these guys know how to spoil us! My mom made all the kids quilts and surprised both of our families with Wii's! (That was Kayston's first Christmas wish but I am way too cheap to spend that much on a present so I talked him into asking for something else!) Plus, they gave us all a lot more presents! My mom always seems to go overboard on things like this but hey, I won't complain!

The kiddos with all their presents!

Kayston also got a glow dome! All these kids absolutely adore Gramma & Grampa! Can you blame them? Thanks again Mom and Dad for making it such a special day! We love you so much and wouldn't know what we would do without you!

Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve, my parents came over for a delicious turkey dinner that my sweet husband made! I didn't have to do a single thing and it was wonderful! I didn't even think to take any pictures of the dinner and I'm wishing I did! It was AMAZING!

My parents always let the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve! Yep, jammies! Kayston's were
Spider Man and Brylee's were Minnie Mouse! The kiddos love their new jammies! Thanks Gramma & Grampa!****************************************
Snowman??

A couple of weeks ago when we had that big snow storm, I came home from work and discovered this in my back yard! A little scary if you ask me but the kids loved it! Too bad it only lasted a few hours since it started raining and the head fell off! Which reminds me, I'm pretty sure my spatulas are still in the back yard!

SaNtA ClAuSe

Our Ward had a Christmas breakfast and we were lucky enough to have Santa join us!

Kayston told Santa he wanted Lego's!
Funny story with Brylee. We had been telling her that she was going to meet Santa and that she could tell him that she wanted a Minnie Mouse for Christmas so he could bring her one! So, after she told him that that's what she wanted, he said "well, I think we could do that" and then he handed her a pencil! When we got in the car to leave, she had the most concerned look on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she looked at her pencil and confusingly said.."this my Minnie Mouse??" It was hilarious! She obviously thought she was going to get her Minnie Mouse that day! I tried to explain that Santa will bring her one on Christmas but come on, she's 2! The next day, she saw her pencil laying on the table and she ran over to it saying "my Minnie Mouse!" Poor confused girl! I just love her so freaking much!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Every year we let the kids decorate the tree and then we have fun re-decorating it once they go to bed! The funny thing is, is that they don't even notice!
This year, both the kids wanted to help put the star on! It sure will be interesting with 3 kids! Their finished master piece!

Thanksgiv
ing in Idaho

This year for Thanksgiving, we headed to Idaho to spend it with Preston's family! We always have so much fun when we're there and the kids LOVE it! As a matter of fact, we hardly ever see our kids cause they're always off playing with all their cousins! It's kind of nice!
I didn't take too many pictures of our Thanksgiving dinner but as always, it was delicious!
While we were in Idaho, we took the kids sledding! They had a blast! Here are some pictures from our trip!

HaLLowEEN

I've been feeling a little overwhelmed just thinking about all the catching up I need to do on my blog so, I've decided to start from now, and catch up little bits at a time!
This Halloween started on Friday for us! My good friend Jess, invited us to her over the top work party at Adobe! They use 3 whole buildings and built themed haunted houses throughout them. They had games for the kids, free food, and tons and tons of candy! This party is so spectacular, that you needed wrist bands just to get in! Of course I left my camera in the car and I wasn't about to drag ALL OF ME back to get it, so hopefully I can steel a pic or 2 from Jess!
Saturday, our ward did a trunk-or-teat which worked out great since it was raining like crazy out here! So, we were able to go there for a little while, chat with some friends and the kids got the whole "Trick-or-Treat" out of their systems! After that, my parents came over and we ordered a pumpkin shaped pizza and watched scary movies!
Preston did end up taking Kayston out to a few houses after it stopped raining! They didn't last long though!

Kayston was a scary mummy! It took over an hour and a half to wrap him up (thanks mom) and then 10 minutes into our trunk or treat Preston had to take him home to unwrap him cause he couldn't breath! Lol!
Brylee was a scary witch! Well, she wanted to be scary but she looked too sweet to be scary!
My cuties! You can tell Kayston is pretty uncomfortable!
A few nights before Halloween we finally got around to carving some Pumpkins! Kayston has been asking pretty much all year when we get to buy pumpkins and carve them! So, needless to say, he was pretty excited!
Brylee had to have her little princess help her with the pumpkin!
Our pumpkins! Daddy did such a good job! =)

Not in the mood to blog...

My poor neglected blog! I have had the hardest time trying to get in the mood to blog lately! I have so many things I need to blog about but I seriously have no interest at all in doing it.

So, you know how in my last post I wrote that I have easy pregnancies? Well, I do. Except for one tiny thing!! Instead of morning sickness I am blessed with severe moodiness! This includes, short temper, a little depression, no motivation to do ANYTHING, tiredness, and just flat out being ornery!!
I hate being tired all the time and not being able to get things done! I hate avoiding phone calls cause I'm not in the mood to do anything with anyone! I hate keeping the kids cooped up all day cause I'm too tired to go out and play in the hot sun!

One thing I don't hate...knowing that at every moment of every day I have a little miracle growing inside me! =)
We get to find out what we're having next Friday and I can't wait! Any guesses? My guess is a boy but I always seem to be wrong!

Anyway, hopefully I'll build up the motivation to sit my butt down and catch up on my blogging one of these days! HOPEFULLY!!!

We're happy to announce that we are now expecting our 3rd baby! I know that some people may think it's too early to be telling people but for those of you who know me, know that I can't keep my mouth shut about these things!! =) I'm now just over 7 weeks and we've already been able to see the heartbeat of our new little miracle! As for me, I'm feeling great! A little woozy here and there and a lot tired but I can't complain one bit! I feel so lucky to have such easy pregnancies!
We're so grateful for our new little blessing and we can't wait to add another little one into our family!!

BRYLEEEEEE!!!!!

The other day I was in the bathroom getting ready for the day! Brylee had brought some toys into the bathroom and was playing on the floor by me. All of the sudden she had left, I thought she just went to get more toys but when I didn't here here for a few minutes, I went out to check on her and this is what I found...
She had taken my mascara off the counter and decided to go and make herself "pretty"! I couldn't believe she could make such a big mess in such a short time! What I didn't take a picture of is, my couch, floor, and her stuffed hippo which all had mascara all over it!! Ugh!!! Luckily it all pretty much came out. Hippo still has a little bit of evidence leftover from his "make-over" but for the most part, he looks ok!

Our first garden...

We decided to put in a garden this year. I have wanted one for a long time so this year I was adamant about having one! Kayston wanted one pretty bad too! He would always ask me, "when can we have stuff in our yard that we can eat?" He was super excited when we finally started planting. Except, yesterday morning, he woke up and looked out the window and was pretty sad when there was still nothing to eat. Silly kid! I think it's going to be a looooooong summer for him waiting for stuff that we can eat.
Since this was our first time putting in a garden, I called upon the experts for a little help! My mom and dad!!! They have had quite a few gardens and they really enjoy doing it! Thanks ma and pa for all your help!
We ended up planting LOTS of tomatoes, green, yellow, orange and red bell peppers, pees, squash, zucchini, cucumbers and the small box is just for the kids.......PUMPKINS!!!

Now, lets just hope those pesky Voles don't destroy all our hard work!!

The last few weeks.....

Gosh, it's been a while since my last post and I feel like I've fallen WAY behind!!
We've been staying pretty busy lately with work, soccer, field trips and everything else that takes place in the life of parents!
I've got a lot to catch up on so sorry if there's not too much written detail on every post!

We decided to put Kayston in soccer this year. We were a little skeptical because last year we tried T-Ball and it was a complete waste! He was not interested what so ever in it and we ended up only going to a couple of games. So far, Kayston LOVES soccer and he actually does pretty well! Except for the fact that he could care less where the goalie is. All he's concerned about is just kicking the ball! =)
Kayston kicking the ball WAY out of bounds!
******************************************************
Kayston had another pretty big milestone! He FINALLY learned how to ride a 2 wheeler! We worked with him last summer but he really didn't care too much about it! This year, he was noticing all the "big boys" in the neighbor hood and he wanted a big bike like them. I told him that as soon as he learned how to ride the little bike, we would buy him a big bike. Well, after practicing for a little while and a little help from MOM, (yes, thank you very much!) He finally got the hang of it.
He was so excited to show daddy when he got home from work and I think daddy was just as excited that he learned cause he piled everyone into the car RIGHT THEN and we went and got Kayston a "big boy" bike!

Practicing on the little bike. Brylee was not making this any easier. She was chasing him around with a toy gun trying to "get him"!
Now trying to get use to the "big bike"Daddy, showing off his skills...if you can even call it skills!!
(Yep, I love this guy!!!)

********************************************************
Last week I helped Kayston's class out with their field trip to the Zoo! Ummm, am I crazy? YES!
They assigned 5 kids in my group and said.. "have a nice time, be back at the bus by 12:30. Oh, and by the way, you're carrying ALL the kids' lunches!" My favorite part is when I would see all the teachers walking around together with NO kids eating popcorn and laughing!
It ended up not being too bad and I'm happy I got to experience Kayston's first "real" field trip with him but, I sure was exhausted by the time we got home.
I've decided that I will help with all my kids' Kindergarten field trips and THAT'S IT! Is that mean??
Notice in the pictures Kayston taking pictures. I got him his own camera for the field trip and I guess he thought that every time I took their picture, that he needed to take a picture! ********************************************************
Brylee is at the stage where she loves to copy people, especially her super cool big brother. She acts like he bugs her most of the time but I can tell just by watching her that she really does think he's the coolest person in the world. On this particular day, they were eating lunch and she was copying everything he did. (as she does most days!)
I love watching these two interact with each other. Well, except for when they're fighting!!
********************************************************
Kayston has quite the imagination. He loves to build crazy things with his toys and he is quite the sculptor when it comes to play-doh! Here are a couple of pictures of his "creations".
********************************************************
Brylee is also going through a stage where she has to include her "Bubbies" (stuffed bunny) in everything we do.
On most days I have to, change Bubbies diaper, give Bubbies a drink, feed Bubbies breakfast, put socks on Bubbies, wipe Bubbies nose, clip Bubbies finger nails, and pretty much everything that Brylee does...Bubbies does. I think it's pretty cute for the most part but some days it does get annoying.
Here's Bubbies having breakfast!
********************************************************
I didn't want to leave out any pictures of my cute kiddos. This is them all dressed up in their Easter/Sunday clothes!
Seriously, can they be any cuter??
