WeEkEnD fUn!

This last weekend we did more then we'll usually do in a month. O.K, maybe not that much but it comes close.
Saturday morning we went to the Eagle Mtn. parade. (Kayston LOVES parades!) He likes all the candy but gets kind of shy when he has to compete with other kids for it. He did pretty good this time though. They through out a small box of Nerds and he plowed over a bigger kid for them. The other parents probably thought we were the worst parents ever when they heard us telling him "good job" and "way to go."

Then after the parade we headed up to Park City. Our friends Kim & Mike had a time share and invited us up for the night. We had a lot of fun. We rode the alpine slide, went out to dinner, Preston & Kayston went swimming, and then we watched movies.

The next morning we woke up and decided to go to Lagoon. Kayston is sooooo BRAVE. If he could I swear he would go on everything. He loves the big rides. He saw the ride Wicked and wanted to go on it. I'm glad though. I need a roller coaster buddy. Hubba sometimes doesn't like to go on all the things I like. A few more years and he'll be tall enough to go on everything.
It turned out to be great weekend. Thanks Kim & Mike for inviting us, we had a BLAST!!!

Should We Be Worried???

Does anybody els' kids do anything like this? Please say YES! He has always liked wearing my shoes, he wants to wear my makeup, when I'm painting my fingernails, he wants his painted, his favorite color is pink and he always says he can't wait to grow up and be a girl or a mommy. Oh, and he even has a purple Cinderella toothbrush.
Hopefully it's just because he hangs out with mom all day but no matter how he turns out, we'll love him just the same!:)

We Sold Our House!

So, a couple of weeks ago we decided to put our house up for sale "by owner." Knowing that the market is really slow right now and no houses around us have been selling, we weren't expecting much. Well, we put the sign out Saturday night, got a call on it Sunday, they came to look at it on Wednesday and made an offer on Thursday. After a few counter offers we both came to an agreement we were all happy with. I'm freaking out a little. I was not expecting to sell in 4 days. It's a bittersweet situation. We've lived here for almost 6 years when it was supposed to only be 3. We love the ward and neighborhood, in fact, if it wasn't for this ward and the people in it (my angels, you know who you are, Jess/Laura) we may have not become active again and had the chance to be sealed in the Temple. I know we were supposed to live here and I will miss it very much. This is our first house together. This is the house we brought our 2 kids home to. This is the house we put so much hard work and love into and truly made it our HOME.
But, we also know it's time to go. Preston works in Springville, pretty much the opposite side of Utah County and I am ready to be closer to civilization.
We will definitely miss it here but feel blessed to have been able to live here and to meet such great friends.
We love you house! We love you Ward! We love you friends!

Kaytson's Preschool Graduation!

This past week Kyston graduated from preschool. (For this year anyway.) They held a little ceremony where they got little diplomas and everything. They played a slide show of the past year and the kids even sang some songs they learned. Most kids sang anyway. Kayston said he didn't sing because there was to many people and he was shy.
Next year he gets to go to the academic preschool. It's 4 days a week instead of 2 (which I'm excited about) and it helps them prepare for kindergarten.
We sure are proud of our little man. He is so smart and I love watching him learn more everyday. I wanted to post a video of Kyston 'NOT singing' But my computer is retarded and won't load it for some reason. I'll keep working on it though cause it's pretty funny.
This is Kayston's teacher, Miss Melanie. He absolutely LOVES her.
Kayston and one of his THREE girlfriends. This is Mackenna.
