Kayston turns 9...

OK, now I'm really starting to feel old!! Can I really have a 9 year old??
Kayston has turned into such a neat and GOOD kid!! He always listens to us and always tries to make good choices. He rarely argues with us and doesn't usually get into trouble. Now if he could just learn to be nice to his sister...!
Kayston was pretty lucky and got a weekend celebration instead of just one day. It started out by going to his favorite place to eat...Panda Express!
The next day, Sunday, we went over to my mom's for his dinner of choice, homemade BBQ'd hamburgers and cake!!
On Monday, his actual Birthday, he was also chosen to be the student of the week!! He has been waiting a long time for this!! We put together a pretty sweet poster for him and sent him off with a big bag of HI-Chews to share with his class!
This picture melts my heart to pieces!!
Later that night, we had some very special visitors stop by for dinner...Gramma and Grampa Robertson and Jakob!! Kayston was so excited they could be there to celebrate his Birthday with him.
Since Kayston had a cake the night before, he told me he wanted cupcakes for this night. Pink cupcakes to be exact! Ha Ha!! Hey, that pink strawberry frosting is pretty dang good so I didn't complain one bit!! We made a few white ones so it wouldn't look so PINK! =)
We shoved all 9 candles into one cupcake!!
Lego Starwars, his favorite!!! He's a little obsessed with them!
Happy Birthday Buddy!!! We sure are proud of you and love you tons!!!

My favorite girls....

This is one of the girls' favorite things to do while I get in the shower.
Dress up, get their jammie hair on, spread out a blanket, get a cup of pirates booty and watch Tinkerbell!!
Man I love these girls of mine!!!

I'm a big girl now....

Look who's going potty on the BIG potty!!! This girl decided she wanted to be potty trained and pretty much potty trained herself!! She would just tell me when she needed to go potty...simple as that!! She even wakes up dry and has only had 1 or 2 tiny accidents! This girl is growing up too fast!! Before we know it, she'll be the one going into Kindergarten!!
Nooooooooooooooooo!!!
Sorry for all the potty shots!! I just can't help that she looks cute in every single picture I take of her!!

Fairy Tea Party...

My sister-in-law, Sarah, invited Brylee and me to a Fairy Tea Party with her and Jessie!! I of course said yes knowing that Bry would LOVE it. I mean, what 5 year old girl doesn't love a tea party?! Besides, we always enjoy hanging out with Sarah and Jessie!
The girls got all dressed up like fairy princesses and we were off for a night of fun!
As I expected, Bry loved it!!! She wouldn't take her eyes off all the fairy's. She even got to go up and curtsy in front of the king and fairy princesses!!
Cute girls as happy as can be!
Thanks so much for the invite Sarah!! We had so much fun you guys!! So sad you won't be here for next years!!

Brylee turns 5...

I can't believe my little Brylee is 5 already!!! Even though she has always acted older than she is, it's hard for me to think of her really getting older!
We had another low key birthday celebration but she loved every second of it!!
She was able to spend some of her Birthday with her preschool class!! She was SO excited about this!! We made pink cupcakes and I got to go in and tell the class a little bit about Brylee! She LOVED it!!
Look at all that loot!!! She was pretty spoiled this year!!!
Happy Birthday cute girl!!! We sure do love you!!!

Brylee stat's at 5 years old...
Height: 46.75 = 98%
Weight: 46.6 = 85%

And of course turning 5 means getting kindergarten shots. She was so brave and didn't even cry!!

This girl has quite the imagination. She is constantly pretending to be a mom or a teacher and loves to boss her baby sister around!! Meegies doesn't mind, most of the time!!
She is sweet to everyone but is a little sass a frass at home!! She can't wait to go to Kindergarten and she would play out side with friends 24/7 if we would let her!!
We are so so grateful that Bry is a part of our family!!!
