Brylee starts kindergarten...

I can't believe our little Brylee is in Kindergarten. She has been ready for this day since the day she was born! Me, not so much! I'm just still in shock that I now have 2 kids in school. And that can only mean one thing...I'm getting older and my babies are growing up! =(

We have always let Kayston choose what he wants for dinner on the night before school starts. Well, since Bry could care less about dinner and would have chosen cereal, we decided to have a little ice cream party for her instead. We also painted her fingers and toes for her big day and laid out her outfit and backpack.
So cute and so grownup!
Yeah, I may have gone overboard on the pictures but I'm sure no one is surprised about that!
She was so excited that she got to walk to school with all her friends.
So many cute girls!!
Her cute teacher, Mrs. McPherson
She had a great first day of Kindergarten. She is the only one that didn't have a friend in her class but it didn't even phase her. She has already made a ton of friends and she even told me that she is friends with all the girls in her class. I know she is going to have a great year and I don't worry about her one bit. She is already reading and even doing math. She is my little smartie pants and she gets so excited to learn. Even though it is hard for me that my kiddos are growing up, it is also so exciting at the same time. I'm so proud of all my kids and I feel so blessed to be their mom!!! I just wish time would slow down a tiny bit! =)

Kayston starts 4th grade!!!

WOW! I still can't believe I have a 4th grader!! How did this happen? I seems like yesterday I was just sending him off to kindergarten!
Kayston has been so excited to start school and I'm really looking forward to this year as well! He has a guy teacher, Mr. Bowman, and Kayston thinks it the coolest thing ever! He started last week and so far he loves it! Kayston has grown up so much over the last year and we are so proud of him and the young man he is turning in to!

He was so excited that we let him ride his scooter to school this year!! All his friends walk but he doesn't care. He just scoots slowly next to them!
Isn't he just the cutest 4th grader you ever did see?

Soccer...

Bry started soccer and she absolutely loves it!

Her first practice!
Her friend Hallie is even on her team!
 First game!
Bry did pretty good at her first game. She got a bloody nose while sitting on the sidelines and then later got knocked in the nose by a kid and got another bloody nose. Haha! She was a good sport though and got right back in the game!!! So proud of my girl!

Lagoon...

We had so much fun at Lagoon this year! We got some last minute unexpected discount tickets that we just couldn't pass up so we called some of our good friends and spent the day at Lagoon!!!
Meegies was so fun this year and she was able to go on lots of the big rides!
It was this girls Birthday that day! I was so happy that I could spend her special day with her!
I love this picture in so many ways!
Waiting for Wicked!! My kids LOVE this ride...
Other Brylee...not so much!!!
We love Lagoon and it's only getting better the older my kids get!!

Robertson family reuinion...

A couple of weeks ago we had our now annual Robertson family reunion. Austin and Krystal were in charge this year and did a great job putting it together.

We met in Idaho and started the day with a fun little hike!
These two talked about "mine craft" the whole way down! Silly boys!
 Setting up the tent!
Meegies found a lady bug and loved it! She let it crawl all over her!
I love how she wouldn't take her eyes off of it!
These cute cousins loved the four wheeler!
That day we all went swimming at a fun little water park. It was windy and pretty cold but the kids didn't mind one bit!
OK, maybe Meegies minded a little but that just meant snuggle time for me! And of course a photo shoot! =)
This place was awesome and it was only $5.00 a person!!!
After swimming we headed back for dinner! Austin and Krystal brought this huge bubble maker and it was a big hit with the kids!!
It's not camping without s'mores!

My mother-in-law brought these things that look like a roaster stick but at the end it looks like a little bowl. You mold dough around it and roast it and fill it with pie filling and whipping cream!! They were sooooooo good!!!!
I'm in heaven right now!
The beautiful sunset from our campsite!
All snuggled up ready for bed!!!

The girls slept great all night long! Kayston on the other hand is the nosiest sleeper ever!! Between him moving around all night, his sleep talking and jaw grinding, we didn't get much sleep!!

The next morning we were in charge of making breakfast! We decided to do the bagged omelets that we did at girls camp last year. The kids loved it and they even taste good!
On our way home!! My kids never sleep in the car so when they do I know they must really be tired!!!
We all had such a good time at the reunion!! I feel so lucky to have married into such a great family!!! Thanks Austin and Krystal for planning it!! It turned out great!!! We sure did miss Bryan, Sarah and Jessie though!! =)
