Kayston's First Day Of His Last Year Of Pre-School!

Kayston had his first day of pre-school on Tuesday. At first he was excited, but then as we were driving there he decided he didn't want to go to school anymore. When we got there he was shy and was clinging on to my leg. One of the teachers came over and grabbed his hand and then he was fine. He just needs to know that he is not all by himself.
When I went to pick him up, I could see them walking from the trailers to the school. He came out still holding on to the teachers hand. When he saw me he ran over to me and was so excited to show me what they did that day. As soon as I told him it was time to go he said he didn't want to leave, and that he wanted to live there.

One of his teachers has kind of a high voice and as we were driving home Kayston asked me why his teacher talked like a baby. I explained to him that people have different voices and thats how her voice was. He told me "but I don't like her to talk like a baby!" I told him that even though he didn't like it, he should not tell her because it might hurt her feelings. I just hope he doesn't say anything to her!

WORST MOM EVER!

So, the other day we had Brylee's 6 month check up. While we were waiting for the nurse to come in and give Brylee her shots, I decided to make her a bottle. So I lied her down on the table and got out the bottle and formula. Well just lately, Brylee has been starting to try and roll over. She'll lift her legs in the air and just kind of flop to the side. While I was in the process of making her bottle, she had decided she wanted to do this. I was standing right in front of her but It still scared me. I instinctively went to grab her but had the formula scoop in one hand and the bottle in the other. I ended up dumping the whole scoop of formula right in her eye. I felt HORRIBLE! I was just praying that the nurse didn't walk in and see my baby laying there with an eye full of formula. So I hurried over to the sink and washed it out. It ended up being in her hair and I even found some in her ear later that day.
Luckily for us parents, our kids "hopefully" won't remember most of these kinds of things that happen!

House Pictures

Here are a few pictures of our new house. It's still kind of a work in progress. The two kids rooms and our room still need some work so I'll post pictures of those a little later.

Update

I know, it's been FOREVER since my last post. SORRY!!!
SO much has gone on the last month good and BAD!!!
First the good. After a week of living with my parents, we finally moved into our new house. It's been so good to have a house again. (I'll post pictures later.)
We like our new house so far. I love that it's a rambler and I don't have to run up and down the stairs anymore. I also love our flat driveway. Anyone who went to our old house knows what I'm talking about. There's a few things that bother me though. The floors are tile and they show every footprint, the appliances are stainless steel and they show every fingerprint. It drives me CRAZY!!! We also have LAME neighbors! Every time we go outside, they go in. What's up with that??
Well, that about does it for the good. Now the BAD!
The week of our move we found out that Preston was being transfered to Duchesne for 2 1/2 years. So, we had to buy a travel trailer for him to live in and we get to live by ourselves in our new house. It sucks so bad!! He gets to come home 1 night a week and on the weekends. Needless to say, he's looking for a new job. He's had a couple of offers but the pay sucks. So, we'll see.
Another bad thing is that ever since I had Brylee my right knee has been hurting. I injured it over 10 years ago and every now and then it will hurt but it eventually goes away. Well, it never went away and only got worse. I could barley walk and when I did walk I looked like a retard. Preston would always make fun of me by dragging his foot when he walked. My friends and family even told me that my knee bowed outwards and my leg looked deformed. So, I finally gave in after 4 1/2 months of PAIN and went to the Doctor. It turns out that my lateral meniscus was torn and was stuck under my knee cap. So, last Wednesday I went in for surgery. The pain from the surgery isn't half of what it was before. I'm just glad to be on the road to recovery.
Well, that's pretty much all of our "major" news for now. I have a few other things I need to post but I am waiting for the pictures from my mom. I promise it won't be another month until you see them.HA HA!
