Kayston turns 9...

OK, now I'm really starting to feel old!! Can I really have a 9 year old??
Kayston has turned into such a neat and GOOD kid!! He always listens to us and always tries to make good choices. He rarely argues with us and doesn't usually get into trouble. Now if he could just learn to be nice to his sister...!
Kayston was pretty lucky and got a weekend celebration instead of just one day. It started out by going to his favorite place to eat...Panda Express!
The next day, Sunday, we went over to my mom's for his dinner of choice, homemade BBQ'd hamburgers and cake!!
On Monday, his actual Birthday, he was also chosen to be the student of the week!! He has been waiting a long time for this!! We put together a pretty sweet poster for him and sent him off with a big bag of HI-Chews to share with his class!
This picture melts my heart to pieces!!
Later that night, we had some very special visitors stop by for dinner...Gramma and Grampa Robertson and Jakob!! Kayston was so excited they could be there to celebrate his Birthday with him.
Since Kayston had a cake the night before, he told me he wanted cupcakes for this night. Pink cupcakes to be exact! Ha Ha!! Hey, that pink strawberry frosting is pretty dang good so I didn't complain one bit!! We made a few white ones so it wouldn't look so PINK! =)
We shoved all 9 candles into one cupcake!!
Lego Starwars, his favorite!!! He's a little obsessed with them!
Happy Birthday Buddy!!! We sure are proud of you and love you tons!!!
