So, a couple of weeks ago we decided to put our house up for sale "by owner." Knowing that the market is really slow right now and no houses around us have been selling, we weren't expecting much. Well, we put the sign out Saturday night, got a call on it Sunday, they came to look at it on Wednesday and made an offer on Thursday. After a few counter offers we both came to an agreement we were all happy with. I'm freaking out a little. I was not expecting to sell in 4 days. It's a bittersweet situation. We've lived here for almost 6 years when it was supposed to only be 3. We love the ward and neighborhood, in fact, if it wasn't for this ward and the people in it (my angels, you know who you are, Jess/Laura) we may have not become active again and had the chance to be sealed in the Temple. I know we were supposed to live here and I will miss it very much. This is our first house together. This is the house we brought our 2 kids home to. This is the house we put so much hard work and love into and truly made it our HOME.
But, we also know it's time to go. Preston works in Springville, pretty much the opposite side of Utah County and I am ready to be closer to civilization.
We will definitely miss it here but feel blessed to have been able to live here and to meet such great friends.
We love you house! We love you Ward! We love you friends!

This is the house I watched you "grow up" in, the house that made me a Gramma, and the house that's seen you through hard times. I will miss it, too!
Wow! What a surprise. When things work out so well, there is a reason. I'm sure that you guys will find the place that's just right for your family now and in the future. Good luck!
