We went with a bunch of friends up to the Live Nativity in Alpine. I'm pretty sure we chose the coldest night we've had to go. It was only about 17 degrees and boy did we feel it!
The Nativity was cool with so many things to see. The only problem was it was so cold we just wanted to hurry through it and be done.
They had lots of live animals including these beauties! They had probably 5 or 6 camels there that you could look at and even touch. They were HUGE!!! Did you know that camels have 3 stomachs and they can go months with out eating and about 10 days without drinking? They also have 2 sets of eyelids to keep the sand out!!! They are really quite fascinating!
Don't mind all the spots on the pictures. Everytime I would turn on the camera it would fog up!
Apparently, women plan their pregnancies so they can play the part of Mary and their baby can be baby Jesus. Weird!
Next year we will have to go back on a not so cold night so we can enjoy it more! We also went to another indoor Nativity called "A Night in Bethlehem" that we really liked! Too bad all the pictures I took are on my phone!
