Christmas afternoon we drove up to Idaho to spend a couple of days with Preston's family. The kids love going to Idaho to see Grandma and Grandpa Robertson and ALL their cousins! We've found that it's a little easier staying at a hotel now and since we get an awesome discount (thanks Bryan) we just make a little vacation out of it! The kids love staying in hotels!
The pool there is the BEST one we've been to out of all the Marriott's we've stayed at!
You can't go to Idaho in the winter without going sledding! There are so many good places to go sledding there!
Kayston loves having so many boy cousins to "hang out" with!
These 2 girls also had a great time together! Bry was a little nervous at first but after going down a couple of times with mommy she realized just how fun it was!
Meegies LOVED sledding and she was even trying to go down by herself!
I think this was the only time she was pulled up! Every other time she wanted to walk up by herself!
We did lots of other fun activities in Idaho but for some reason I don't have any pictures! =(
The kids built gingerbread houses, Grandma had a "Grandma's store" that the kids got to pick lots of fun things from, I went to a movie with my cute sisters-in-law and Mother-in-law, we of course ate lots of yummy food, Grandpa put a pinata together for the kids to break open, we celebrated Aunt Kesti's Birthday, and of course did some more swimming back at the hotel!
Kayston also kept busy working on one of his new lego star wars sets!
Bry colored in her new Hello Kitty color wonder book she got from Kazuki! She colored the whole book on that trip!
And Meegies stayed busy being a good mommy to her baby!
We always have a good time in Idaho with family! The kids are always exhausted by the time we leave and sleep almost the whole way home (which is so NOT like my kids) but it's always a sign of a good time!

Sounds so fun! I prefer staying in hotels too. We plan on doing that when we visit this summer. It's so much more relaxing and nicer for everyone.
