For Spring break we decided to have our very first "staycation"! Preston even took the week off so he could join in on the fun!! We did lots of fun things and had a great week! I'm sure these aren't in order but here are some of the things we did....
Dinosaur museum
My kids could play forever in this thing!
Bry is becoming such a little poser!
We stayed one night at a hotel and went swimming in their tiny pool!
Farm country!
This picture is classic!
There were so many baby goats!! I wanted to take one home so bad!!
The Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake
Shopping at City Creek
Swimming at the Provo Rec Center...(along with everyone else in Utah County!)
Some of our good friends invited us to go swimming at the Provo Rec Center. We had never been and I heard it was super cool so we were excited to go. Well, we weren't the only ones with that idea. It was SO busy!! We didn't last very long but the kids still had a great time! We can't wait to go back on a not so busy day!
One of the days we decided to go to the Aquarium with some more good friends! It was pretty neat! The penguins were definitely our fave!!
The tulip festival!
We had never been to the tulip festival but I had always heard good things about it. I didn't realize just how beautiful it would be!! These pictures don't do justice!
Lovin the poses!
This picture makes me laugh! My kids seriously struggle sometimes!
I think we chose one of the warmest days of Spring Break to go ice skating! Haha!
I wasn't really sure how my kids would do ice skating. We tried roller skating a while ago and it was a disaster!! =)
My kids LOVED it! Kayston especially! Who knew!
We had a great time and the kids did a pretty good job!
Little tiny ice skates are the cutest!!
This walker thing saved us!
He was a natural!
He only fell a few times!
Love my little family!!
I feel like I'm missing a day but oh well! This post has taken me way too long to finish and I still have a ton more to catch up on! Trying to find the time to blog lately seems impossible!
Anyway, we had a great Spring Break! I'm so grateful that my hubby has a job that allows him to take time off to do these kinds of things with us!! We loved having him home that week!
