We got up there around 9:15 and started the hike. I'm a little paranoid and made Kayston hold my hand the entire time. I think this made the hike even more difficult since I was pretty much pulling him the whole way. But seriously, I couldn't believe that there was no rail or anything on the edge and the path is pretty narrow and very steep. I got a little nervous at some parts. The hike was pretty difficult but very pretty and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Kayston did way better than we expected. He didn't complain too much and was surprisingly ok with holding my hand.
The cave is awesome! I forgot how big it was and how many neat things there are to see. Kayston loved it and he was so excited that he got to see a real BAT!! He had been asking us if there were bats and we told him probably not, so that was a great bonus.
Coming down the mountain is just as tough as going up if you ask me. My hips are definitely feeling it today.
Overall, we had a great time! Too bad baby sis didn't get to come, but I'm sure she had just as fun at Gramma's house!! =)

Your pictures are so awesome! We want to do that next year.
How long did it take? Fun!!!
My body is still sore from that hike. But it feels good considering that I never work out anymore. Thanks for inviting us. It was super fun!!!! Hopefully they will have a free weekend next year so we can do it again.
You should seriously delete that picture of me with my wide eyes. NOT cute.
I'm impressed that you took Kayston! We hiked to Timp Cave last year, and I think he was pretty tough to make it there so well. Looks like you had fun!

Yep, me 'n Beef had a great time! She LOVED nursery and when I took her to Relief Society, she stood right in the middle of the room and "helped" the chorister lead the music! She was the belle of the ball, that girl!
